Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, and Ola Rune met on their first day at university, shared a worktable rather than each opting for his own, and created great work together. Three decades later, they still share a worktable, plus a Stockholm-based architecture firm, projects all over the globe, and dozens of awards.
Honored with the annual Swedish Design Award eight times, Claesson Koivisto Rune is one of Sweden’s leading design studios, known for its multidisciplinary approach. “Being both designers and architects, we always look at design as a part of a greater spatial context,” says Claesson. “When you design a product from an architectural standpoint, it will work well in space.”
