Margrethe Odgaard
Working from her Copenhagen studio, Margrethe Odgaard begins each textile and rug design by looking for fresh ways to combine and explore colors.
An innovative textile designer, Margrethe Odgaard saw the need for a color index with a compelling richness and complexity in it, so she created her own system. “In order to communicate color in my personal design language, I designed what I call The Popsicle Index,” she says. “It’s a range of hues that possess an immediate appeal to the senses.”
