MSDS Studio
The founders of Toronto-based MSDS Studio, Jessica Nakanishi and Jonathan Sabine create innovative pieces that are a synthesis of their experiences in interior design and cabinet making.
Named Canadian product designers of the year in 2015, the designers at MSDS Studio are known for creating forms that are both familiar and provocative. “We believe that a clearly expressed concept and element of surprise can compel someone to acquire an object, and that nuance and craft can compel them to keep it,” says Sabine. “We value imagination, practicality, beauty, usefulness, and a touch of strange.”
